What is Riverina first?
Riverina First, the Foundation for Innovation, Regional Services and Telecommunications, is an exciting, region wide initiative of the Riverina Regional Development Board and Telstra Country Wide, aimed at improving telecommunications and community services within the Riverina. This brochure explains how you can join Riverina First and benefit from new and improved services.
What are the benefits of Riverina First?
At the heart of Riverina First is a fund that will foster better telecommunications and communtiy services across the region. The Riverina First Fund's benefits are linked to customer participation - the more people that join, the more improvements Riverina First can deliver.
Telstra Country Wide will contribute 1.5cents for every fixed line local and Telstra pre-select call made by eligible Telstra business and residential customers who register with Telstra to join Riverina First.
- Telstra Country Wide has donated $20,000 to the Riverina First Fund which will help provide funding for telecommunications and community projects.
- As a member of Riverina First, you may also be able to subscribe to special offers such as broadband and e-commerce initiatives.
- Joining is at no cost to you
Why should I join?
When you join Riverina First you are helping to grow the Riverina First Fund which will benefit your region and your community. Joining is simple, and will not change any aspect of your existing billing arrangements with Telstra.
Remeber, joining is at no cost to you and will not affect your existing Telstra account or call rate plan.
Who can join?
To be eligible to join Riverina First you must be a Telstra pre-selected customer and reside in one of the 20 Riverina local government areas listed below. It's that easy.
