Welcome to the Coolamon Shire

Coolamon Shire Council local government area has a population of 4,050 including the three larger towns of Coolamon, Ganmain and Ardlethan, and the smaller villages of Marrar, Matong and Beckom.

The Coolamon Shire is one of the richest agricultural and pastoral districts in the Riverina and enjoys the best of both worlds – the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of rural living, yet boasts the services and facilities such as a new library, early childhood centres, community & health centres only normally found in much larger centres.
